DumpyDan Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I found these pictures in an old book of mine, they are the only ones I could find at the time. I used a revell 69 charger Pro Modeler kit, was built as box stock when I got it for 5 buck. So how could I go wrong, so I took it apart and cut it up. Lost interest for a while a year or so later I was inspired again, this is what I ended up with.
george 53 Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I saw this car at the Detroit Autorama! GREAT use of the "Chopped Top" original Pro Modeler body!!! Ity came out VERY NICELY!!!
Dr. Cranky Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I like the way this one looks. Very nice. And different.
TooOld Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 That's pretty cool ! Kind of reminds me of the Fireball 500 car .
Scuderia Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 looks great ! you really nailed it down. I saw some roadster projects in a google search that may have been inspired by this concept.
turn1wonder Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I was going to ask how you made the side pipes, then I realized you also had tail pipes. Could I convince you to, ah, show me your bottom? Bob
darquewanderer Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 This is one that's been on my to-do list for some time. Nice job! Same here. Well done.
