Bugace Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 This one got most of its parts from the General. I got a very rough casted body, with the sleeper alredy glued to the cabin. There was warpage, and cracks. Floorboard, and dash was casted as one piece, and the grill was whitemetal. Lots of work, but I was very happy when finished. I love this style GM trucks, so I might buy my self a AITM kit as well.
Bowtienutz Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 That looks pretty good. You don't see them around anymore.
Badluck 13 Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Cool Ol' GMC!!,I like the 60 inch sleeper, very neat idea.
CorvairJim Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Who made the conversion? I've been looking for one of these to do duty as the tractor for a late 1960's G.M. car carrier I have in the works. It will eventually act as the display for several of my Corvair builds.

Still, check here: This is AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL TRUCK MODELS kit, and one I wish for my self.
