caine440 Posted May 6, 2012 Author Posted May 6, 2012 Look forward to seeing your build Fred! Whose decals are you using?
Bonekrosha Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 One of the Mopar mags (Mopar Muscle I think) did an article on this car not too long ago if I'm not mistaken. The old found in a barn story. I'll see if I can find the issue..
Plasticfanatic Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Look forward to seeing your build Fred! Whose decals are you using? I belive they are by Fred Cady, but not sure, they where given to me for this project..as well as the resin intake mainfold by my good friend Norbert about a year ago, will ask him when I see him. When you finish this Charger it will look great side by side with your great Rod Shop Challenger...is impossible not to love these vintage racing cars....pure brute force!!
caine440 Posted May 7, 2012 Author Posted May 7, 2012 Thanks Fred. It did take a little work moving things around to get the tires to fit along with a litle grinding.
gtx6970 Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Sure would like to know where I can a copy of the intake by itself. I see Ross Gibson resins has an engine kit with it, but I prefer to use a plastic engine as I have dozens of them in the drawer

caine440 Posted May 9, 2012 Author Posted May 9, 2012 I used the Gibson intake as I just think it looks better. The rest of the motor is from the kit. I'll use the remaining Gibson motor parts on a Pro Stocker in the future. Got the white paint on last night. I'll do some sanding and add the red stripes in the next day or two. Thanks.
Mister Twister Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Turning out another winning replica Roger...Keep at it!
caine440 Posted May 21, 2012 Author Posted May 21, 2012 Just a quick update. There are some fit up issues to deal with yet. Thanks for looking!
gtx6970 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 If i may, what color +/ or brand paint is the interior ?
Dragracer Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 The Charger is coming out nice Roger, can't wait to see her when she's all done!
