A little more modern, (1967 to be exact), heres my cabover/summer driver.

The IH with the front windows is a Sightliner. It shared the same basic cab as the Loadstars, and the light duty pick-ups from 1957 thru 1968. I have a Loadstar cab in the works, and if I can find a sightliner for refrence, I'll try one of those too.

I loeve the 50s Chevy LCFs style. I do plan a build inspired on them.My town had a 58 LCF fire truck but sadly it was lost when our fire house burned down In 08.

Wow - Dr. Cranky , you sure started a great topic , I love looking at all these great cabovers . It is amazing to see all the different styling they could produce in those days without the restrictive regulations of today. Thank you.

this has a emergency light molded into the grill but it kinda gives it a tucker feel... how about that a Tucker COE truck????

I always thought, had Tucker persisted, they would probably have made a rear engined van, sort of a big brother of the Beetle-based VW Van. Now that would have been so cool, no?
