Kennyboy Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Very nice Ken!! Love the color You used. A Great tribute, to a Great man. Roy Thanks Roy, been looking forward to the finish of your GT500 above.
madhorseman Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 (edited) Well Thank You Ken, I'm just a few bits away from finishing...Oh sooo close!! Then I started a new Shelby Tribute project. It's gonna be the '67 Trans Am coupe driven by Jerry Titus for the Shelby "Terlingua Team" Edited July 16, 2013 by madhorseman
madhorseman Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Here is the result of the body work to transform the '67 fastback to coupe, for my Jerry Titus Trans Am car.
Kennyboy Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Wow Roy! No one would have ever guessed you "backhalved" that kit. Looks like it was molded that way. Great work!
madhorseman Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Thanks Guys, I'll need to make new side vent windows for it, but that shouldn't be too bad. The Februrary 2012 model magazine article I saw this outlined in suggested to cut the roofs behind the windshield trim. The thought of gluing a seam that long, didn't appeal to me so I cut at the A pillars. And I did buy a resin '67 Mustang coupe body, in case I had a bad day.
Jeremy Jon Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Nice work Roy, looks great! You should make a few casting while the mold is fresh, I'm sure there would be a few buyers here for it!
madhorseman Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Thanks Guys, for all the positive comments. Jeremy that would be a great idea but, I don't know the first thing about resin casting. Roy
madhorseman Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) ....And from today. Edited December 18, 2013 by madhorseman
