brett Posted May 22, 2012 Author Posted May 22, 2012 Thanks guys, did the white and some decaling today, had issues with the Slixx set falling apart on me but got them pieced together. Didnt really intend on using any but thought the colors suited it quite well.
Mister Twister Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Thats beautiful Brett.....It just works! Good stuff!
Dragracer Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 She looks great Brett!, but that sure ain't no "Lil" Shoebox! LOL!
Mooneyzs Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Brett... this turned out gorgeous man.... i love the colors and decal choices. everything flows together well. job well done!! Killer work on this one.
brett Posted May 26, 2012 Author Posted May 26, 2012 Thanks guys , got the glass made, interior tin modified and fitted, tail lights done, now to start on its own chassis. It will be pretty much identical to this one that I've been using for mock up purposes
W-409 Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 This one looks cool! I like the paint scheme a lot and you did nice job with those body modifications. Have to say, that I would not started to convert that body into this, just because it would have been maybe bit too challenging. You did very nice job on it.
eviltwincustoms Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I am totally blown away by this one Brett! You did an outstanding job in turning this Tri 5 Shoebox into a flopper.... and the blue and white skull theme really sets this one off... Fantastic job all around!
rmvw guy Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 WOW, that is nice! You are a master at this Brett! Everything from the body work to the graphics is awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed following along with you on this one, great work!
Mister Twister Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I like the way you think Brett....Nice work as usual.
brett Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 Thanks guys, I really appreciate the nice comments, Hd a really cold snap here the last few days so the arthritis is playing up pretty bad so no bench time at all
brett Posted July 2, 2012 Author Posted July 2, 2012 started on the chassis today tin works done on all three so hopefully the chev and Tbird will be done by the end of the week. Camaro needs glass and all three need the parachutes mounted but that shouldnt be too bad (I hope )
Dragracer Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 The chassis is looking good Brett, almost done with them, must feel pretty good!
brett Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 Thanks Richard, finally dragged my butt back to the model room (had a lot going on lately, most of it I could have done without). Decided I had to try making the frame work that holds the front of the body up as the front bumper was scraping the ground
Mooneyzs Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Brett.. Nice work bud!! that front body support for the frame looks great man
brett Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 thanks guys, I really appreciate it. decided I had to put a bit of detail out the top (of the motor ) which then looked funny cause of the lack of plug wires so
1320wayne Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Looks really good Brett. I'm a really big fan of going the extra mile with the underside bracing.
Terror Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Thats a show stopper Brett.I would like to see more of the van in the forground too..Nice work
brett Posted July 30, 2012 Author Posted July 30, 2012 thanks guys, I really appreciate the kind comments
