Beerman86GT Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Started this one a while ago and is turning OK I guess. Would like for some places to be a little more clean but all in all I am satisfied with it. It's for my 6 year old daughter who wanted me to build her a pink car. I have always loved this car anyways! Comments and suggestions welcome!!!! The beggining stages...... More to come!!!
Jantrix Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Looks like clean building to me John. If I can offer a bit of advice. Every part in a kit has mold seems on them, left over from the injection molding process. If you want to take your work up a notch, the careful sanding to eliminate of those seams is the thing to do.
Beerman86GT Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 Thanks, one my downfalls is I tend to rush the chassis stuff. More updates!!!! Paint and decals!!!!!! And that's where we are at for now. As always comments and suggestions welcome! Thanks!
Kustom Rodder Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Looking really good it makes one wonder where the 1:1 car is at today if it even stiil exsits.

I did some researching online before I got this kit. I was going through some 80's to 90's pro street withdrawals! I found lots of pictures of the car on YellowBullet as well. To me the most current looking one (only because of the tacky airbrushing done on it) is this. Looks like it is sitting in someones living room. I also tried to contact Matt on FaceBook and asked him if he still owned it or knew where it was, I never got a response.
Maindrian Pace Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Very cool, that may be the first time I've ever seen that kit built as the actual car. I've always liked the car too. -MJS
