Gregg...it's not your fault. Every single PHP board I post on or have posted on (about 15 since 2000) have had this trouble at some time or another.

I reset outgoing mail to a different server

The only thing is there may be a limit to the amount of relays this server can handle

we'll have to see

I've now made two replies w/out the error message, the first w/the email notification turned off, the second after I changed back to email notification.

Now we'll see if we get emails again at 38 minutes after the hour (something I noticed before; all email notifications came at that time).

Well, I had to switch back to "no email reply" mode, as the following turned up after my last reply:

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 553 Sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts.

Gregg, I like the new setup! I'm glad you made the switch. Ask anyone who's been around a while, I've hated php for years but was forced to use it because almost every forum was on it. This new forum has a couple extra features that should come in quite handy at various times...

Fixing the avitar was a snap, too. Took maybe a minute, and most of that was spent in the time clicking through to get to the photo on my Fotki.
