Gcustoms Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Unfortunately it's die-cast with die-cast drivetrain. Was fully built until the glue I bought started to give way so I took it all apart to rebuild it and forgot about it. Needless to say parts are now missing. Now I don't know whether to weather the paint and make it into a "junkyard find" or find some new wheels, make a new door/dash etc. I just finished a rat rod 55 bel air that turned out nice and I like the way rust looks as a scale model On the other hand I don't want to ruin a beautiful model. Any suggestions?
Mr. Moparman Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Build it up stock! A good Mopar loves stock!!!!!
MachinistMark Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 (edited) While rust would be the most realistic approach to buildinga stinkin old dodge, you should pro street it Edited June 4, 2012 by MachinistMark
Gcustoms Posted June 4, 2012 Author Posted June 4, 2012 Ended up taking the "realistic" option and added as much oxidization as I could. Made that old charger into a junkyard/barn find Might make my plastic camaro the prostreet car.
Kaleb Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 You can set out on a clear night and hear a dodge rust.
