lvnlwd Posted June 4, 2012 Author Posted June 4, 2012 interior is finished just need a detail master tach

Fat Brian Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Did that version of the truck still have the bumper with GIANT engraved in it?
lvnlwd Posted June 5, 2012 Author Posted June 5, 2012 not putting lights in it but will cut out giant and put plastic behind it painted blue
lvnlwd Posted June 5, 2012 Author Posted June 5, 2012 the bigfoot bed rollbar worked for giant just cut lights off then put the rear bars on bacwards
lvnlwd Posted June 5, 2012 Author Posted June 5, 2012 started suspension today...good ol juice box straws work great for shock covers
Fat Brian Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 That motor will be great, does it have a transmission with it?
lvnlwd Posted June 5, 2012 Author Posted June 5, 2012 i dont believe so.....but i will use the bigfoot trans
Fat Brian Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 The kit transmission is a C6 so it would be correct for just about all Ford trucks of the day.
lvnlwd Posted June 6, 2012 Author Posted June 6, 2012 drive shaft safety loops made and both front sets of shocks and finished roll cage
lvnlwd Posted June 8, 2012 Author Posted June 8, 2012 have to dremel the giant yet but bumper is made
lvnlwd Posted June 8, 2012 Author Posted June 8, 2012 my dremel bit was a little to big so i may make another bumper before this build is over.....and my boss 429 motor came today!!.....also made the air filter
lvnlwd Posted June 8, 2012 Author Posted June 8, 2012 made the filter with sheet plastic some small strips of plastic and house window screen then painted screen and foiled chrome parts
Fat Brian Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 You might have to cut the letters out of a thin piece of sheet plastic with an exacto and then use that as the face of the bumper. The air filter looks great.
lvnlwd Posted June 9, 2012 Author Posted June 9, 2012 i just need a smaller bit for my pencil grinder it was too thick.....made my letters off to the left cause i started with the t ....the bumper is sheet plastic
lvnlwd Posted June 10, 2012 Author Posted June 10, 2012 GOT THE ENGINE PAINTED ....MADE THE HEADERS...ATTACHED MT SCRATCH BUILT AIR CLEANER THEN MADE THE HOOD CUT OUT TO MATCH THE REAL TRUCK
