OK, at least I managed to fool about 1/3 of you guys... which is better than I did last time!

Anyway, final vote was 42 REAL, 23 MODEL. And you guys got it, it's REAL!

Great job on this one, Harry! While I did finally gey it right, it had me studying the picture for several minutes. One question: Would it be possible for you to post the un-Photoshopped picture so we can see what you did to it. I know you never do anything to the actual car/model, but altering the background is fair game. The plain white background of this week's Rolls is one of the things that had me scratching my head. Thanks in advance.

I didn't do anything to it.

Just checking, though I know Harry doesn't mess with these shots, I found the same picture online, exactly as Harry presented it.

It's a 1955 Bentley R Continental, which has a number of diecasts, but I would dearly love to have an assembly kit of it, 1/24 or larger.

In looking more closely at the original photo, I can see that it IS the Bentley "Winged B" ornament, not the "Spirit of Ecstacy" on the radiator grille of this magnificent Bentley Continental. Harry, I wasn't accusing you of altering anything, it's just that the background looked too pristine to be anything but retouched. My brother-in-law is a professional automotive photographer, and he's told me about many of the techniques that go into perfecting these photos before they're ever published. My guess is that the original photographer and his crew did the work fine-tuning the photo (lighting and shadows, etc) already. These guys don't alter the substance of the car; they just try to show it to greatest advantage.
