Austin T Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 I know how to make bullet holes in clear plastic, but how do you make them in regular plastic or styrene?I am working on a Post-Apoc. truck for Dr. Cranky's CB.Also how do I make in scale weld marks?
vintagestang Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 take a small drill bit and drill a hole. Then go back with a slightly bigger bit and don't drill very ar into the first hole. Paint steel for a recent hole or rust for an older one.

Foxer Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 I use Archer resin decals for welds. Another member here uses styrene half rounds that he applies glue to and shapes to a weld to good effect. Here's a photo with some Archer welds: .. bah .. never took good pics of these welds .. look at the junction of the red upper air shroud to the old VW one. I also used some on this dragster around the door line: I'm going to have to take some closer photos to show how these look.
