I know how to make bullet holes in clear plastic,but how do you make them in regular plastic or styrene?I am working on a Post-Apoc. truck for Dr. Cranky's CB.Also how do I make in scale weld marks?

take a small drill bit and drill a hole. Then go back with a slightly bigger bit and don't drill very ar into the first hole. Paint steel for a recent hole or rust for an older one.

All good advice. A little silver paint on a toothpick will do ya.

I use Archer resin decals for welds. Another member here uses styrene half rounds that he applies glue to and shapes to a weld to good effect.

Here's a photo with some Archer welds: .. bah .. never took good pics of these welds .. look at the junction of the red upper air shroud to the old VW one.
