Have been looking at this kit since it came out and finally the so called local hobby shop had gotten one. I pick it up and couldn't wait to get started on it even though I have a lot of other models started. I first primed it with Tamiya Gray Primer, then sprayed it with Tamiya Maroon and then sprayed it with Tamiya Mica Red and then shot Testors Ultra Gloos Clear Lacquer over it since I don't have any more Tamiya Clear.

Then I moved on to the interior, primed with Tamiya White Primer, then shot it with Testors Modern Desert Sand and the shot some Tamiya Semi-Gloss Clear on that.

The chassis has been sprayed the same as the body along the rockers, then Flat Black with Tamiya Semi-Gloss Clear then Testors Light Gray Metallic lacquer.

This really a great kit, you should have building it, I know I did with mine, just a word of warning, dont go on Aston Martins website and look at the interior color options, it will make your head spin

I'm with Martin on this... Also be very careful with the metal transfers... They're very delicate

Cheers Dan

I couldnt get the ones that go engine cover to go on and stay on

Thirded...

There's plenty of clear decal film in the middle of some of the number plates and frames... I'd apply the engine transfers to the decal film, rub 'em down, and then cut close to them to apply them as a traditional waterside decal. It'll keep the elements together and spaced, and stick them down better.

bestest,

M.
