Lownslow Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 i was expecting a lot more from them it took a while to clean the smaller wheel the 3 spoke is going to need some serious work, the plaque had no issues. im going to have change a lot of drawings to work around the issues but in the mean time its back to finding another company
Lunajammer Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 The three spoke may not look exactly like your drawings but it still looks cool. In chrome, nobody would know you intended otherwise, even if only the smallest star was chrome. Salvageable.
RodneyBad Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 You're really on to something.. Those look Perty good.
jbwelda Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 yeah those swirly many spoke kinda wheels look pretty boss, and the three wide spoke one looks kool too. not really my kinda wheels but i see where youre going with them. what dont you like about them, is it a finish thing you cant really see in the photos, or are there chunks out of the spokes or something? kool lookin wheel and tire combo.
Lownslow Posted June 7, 2012 Author Posted June 7, 2012 the spokes are supposed to be smooth and chamfered to a point
camaroman Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Is that your ODD logo on the spoke of the Tri Blade? I agree "are not my style" but still look very cool!!!
Chief Joseph Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Frank, try contacting PCS Engineering in Maryland. They have some pretty serious printers that should help with your ragged lines.. Email is info@pcsenginc.com
Kaleb Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 (edited) What program are you using to draw them? The 22's still look good. I just checked out the original post, and I see what your saying by the triblades. I'm not sure who you were using, but I did find one company. http://www.solidconcepts.com/ Edited June 7, 2012 by Kaleb
SSNJim Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 I actually like the three spokes. It's the steps and the unusual style I like. Everyone does nice, smooth round spokes - those would stand out and be noticed. I would use them just as they are (after paint/chrome) on a slammed pickup or modern custom.
Kaleb Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Now that I would like to see lol, 26 inch rims on a slammer.
Hedgehog Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Those look great to me. A lot of questions. What software did you use? And what was the price of the rims?
Lownslow Posted June 7, 2012 Author Posted June 7, 2012 for those asking about the software i used Autodesk inventor, i started fixing the three spoke yesterday
