Put me down as one who always liked this car. In my opinion when it came out I thought that it was a very fresh looking car. Different from most others of its day.

Not to beat a dead horse, but if you aren't concerned about accuracy you might think about the 53 Ford chassis. Here is how mine turned out when I sectioned it and added a 65 Mustang fastback roof. I thought that it looked a lot like Sniper. I was going to mimic the Mercedes head lights too, but thought that it would look too much like Sniper, especially since I had in mind to paint it a dark Metallic green two tone.

Does anyone know if there was any work bench type coverage of this car while being built? It doesn't look tooo hard to duplicate,and R&R makes a '54 Plymouth as a starting point. Was it sectioned?

Body, Frame, & Suspension

  • Body sectioned 4 inches, and rear quarter panels extended 14 inches
  • Custom band-built steel roof and windshield pillars
  • Extended and reshaped hood, grille, and wheel wells
  • Rolled rear pan and smothered remote control doors
  • 10 gauge box-section perimeter frame, stiffened by a round tube center section
  • 14 body mount locations to insure rigidity
  • Front & rear twin A-arm Viper suspension moved inboard 10 inches to accommodate body
  • Koni coilovers, 500 lb. front and 400 lb. rear springs, NASCAR style rack & pinion steering
  • Custom billet hood and trunk hinges all stainless fasteners
  • Mercedes E320 headlights
  • 18" front and 20" rear Boyd wheels
  • PPG Deep Moss Green and Spanish Olive Green paint

    Interior
    • Viper seats and gauges
    • Custom steel dash and aluminum console
    • Olive green leather and suede upholstery Carbon fiber accents
    • Premium sound system with trunk mounted amplifier

      Engine

      • Viper V-10 @ 488 cubic inches; 480 horsepower
      • 500 lb./ft. of torque
      • Performance: "Viper-ish"

      [*]New extended tilt steering column

      [*]Changed rear gear from 3.08 to 3.45

      [*]Custom side mirrors painted body color

I for one liked it the first time I seen it. All Mopar, no chevy or ford engines. No custom Chevy or Ford, seen to many of them, Something new something fresh. Need more of these to come around, real and or models.
