I started with this busted up built up junkyard ...

and a badly damaged George Z body ...

three weeks later and some stuff from the parts box and I ended up with this ...

Whoda thought you could get this nice a paint job out of a $5.00 can of paint and a coat of Meguires liquid wax.

PS, two coats within 30 minutes and I didn't sand it either !!!

how did u fix thoose wonderful louver for the backlid?

I used a resin 29 roadster deck lid I got from Jeff at Retro Resin.

It was smaller than the 32's so I cut a hole in the 32 deck lid and recessed the 29 to fit ...

Then I filled the seams with putty and sanded it smooth.

A couple of coats of Plasti-kote spot filler primer to fill any deep scratches and it's done.
