Pro Tech
I noticed you mentioned in the "Drag RacingModels" forum that you don't use airbrush, only cans. What color/brand of can paint did you use on this body, and how do you get such great finish on your car using can paint? Fantastic paint job and fantastic detail. LOVE IT!! Yeah I hate to break-out the airbrush with all the set-up and cleaning involved so I stay with cans all I can. This build I used Testors one coat lac. then over coated it with Testors clear enamal. I shoot the body early in the build so the clear can fully cure (3-4 months) then it gets rubbed out, Charlie Pro Tech
Pro Tech
All I'm gonna say is 2 things: #1- Great build Charlie!. #2-What's up next? Richard, I'm thinking the next one will be Tommy Grove's 71/72 Mustang F/C build using Chuck's great decals and the old Johan kit. TedsModeling
That first shot, at the top of this thread, looks like the real thing in a museum! Love the overall cleanliness and attention to detail, not to mention the great paint job. The decals look superb and really finish off the car. Another one to be proud of!
