I like it, one question though, where did you get the day cab and how much did it cost?. I am interested in getting a day cab for next build, but I'm not a fan of the great bulging roof of the sleeper. Looking forward to following this build.

Dave Carey does offer a daycab for LoneStar. I can't shed any light on price.

I do have one here and it looks like an injection molded part! very nicely done!

Boy, I would fire that guy that works in the shop. He seems to stand around quite a bit and you do all the work. :) Good progress though.

You mean that fat guy with the hat and glasses? You can't do that! That's Jackson, he's a truck driver for a small scale truck fleet that owns a whole fleet of Peterbilts and he's a Peterbilt addict. He usually hangs around another well known workbench. He visits other places now and then to get a feel of what's going on in the business, that's all... :P

Jackson goes back several years now, is the resident supervisor of CanAm Garage, which is located on the Vermont/Quebec border. He's quite the traveler, and has been to that Peterbilt "addict's" shop a couple of times. he's been on just about every continent now except for Antarctica, (not very model builders down there), being hosted by modelers, who have shown him the sights--been to numerous model car contests and NNL's in the bargain.

Jackson usually hangs out over on the Spotlight Hobbies Message Board, but does visit here sometimes.

I know a modeler from another board who is stationed at McMurdo Base, Antarctica, so that can be arranged!
