That's some glossy paintwork, and bonus points for following the basics and removing the mold seam across the top of the radiator. :)

Dunno how I missed this its purdy oldman , I learned ya how to paint good lol .......

Well, lookee here ! Get tired of chasin' stumps with that pointed head of your's yet?

This kit is right up your alley , Glenn ! Early muscle with more then a few building avenues to pursue ! Be a great kit for you to add to your drag racing collection .

Thanks for the painting instructions , I'd be lost like you are , except when Miss Betty ties that rope around your waist . I guess that guarantees that you'll get back to the house after taking the garbage out , huh ?

Yep ! That I am !

The Pearl X additives come in powder form which are mixed into your clear . There are 32 different colors in the large set . Greg just ordered a set from DickBlik , said it cost him around $60 which included shipping .

I bought a few smaller sets at Michaels and the large set from an art supply house in Pgh . Wide array of beautiful colors , nothing garish , provides a very pretty spectrum with a subtle flip flop to it . Virgil and I have been playing with them for a few months , passing color recipes back and forth using different color combinations and base coats !

I highly recommend them !

Gotta pipe in here, Donn. Check out prices for Pearl Ex at Amazon.com. I was able to get the big 32 jar set for about $50 with free shipping (a few months ago).

Very nice indeed....

Got to chat with Don at NNL East and he is an affable young fella. I enjoyed his finished cars there very much. But let's see what i can do with the "Dragline" method.

All shot from cans..

Tamiya mid 80's Porsche I bought at that very show.

Paint is Black Gold Euro red with El-Cheapo Acrylic clear.

Then polished to what you see here.

There are many methods it seems.

I also picked up donn's videos at the cincy show this spring and would recommend them to anyone. I was able to talk with him and his wife at the show for even more tips. everything i ask him he said, it's all in the videos. After just getting back to building these videos have really made a difference in my paint jobs. Thanks donn.

Nope ! Found them in the scrapbook section at my store . They are a product manufactured by Jacquards . Small sets contain 12 jars , large set 24 , deluxe set 32 . Hope this helps !
