Ira Posted November 11, 2012 Author Posted November 11, 2012 (edited) Well, Ira, if you're going to do mude, SLING that stuff and get it real dirty. We are All Dirty Now!!! Dirty Photos Coming Soon... Edited November 11, 2012 by Ira
Ira Posted November 11, 2012 Author Posted November 11, 2012 (edited) STAGE TWO: MORE MUD!!! I added more Heavy Mud in the Fender and Lower Areas... I used Flat Spray Paint in Brown Tones and a Tooth Brush with Acrylics. If you fill the Tooth Brush with paint and run your finger over the bristles Quickly, the paint will fly off, you should get a Good Splatter Effect this way. The Tires were Dry Brushed with Black Acrylics. Next time I do this with MuD I will try another color. The Green and Browns seemed to blend together. I found that this looked more like dry dirt than MuD, so I made one more addition to the paint job...Stage 3! Stayed tooned for, STAGE THREE: GETTING WET!!! Photos Coming Soon... Edited November 12, 2012 by Ira
Ira Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 nice but thats just a misting of mud wheres the clumps of heavy mud? Here is some more MuD for You!!! Wait for Stage 3 Photos, the MuD is Going to Get Wet...
Ira Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 STAGE THREE: GETTIN" WET!!! After all of the Weathering with Flat Paints, MuD BuG Looked Very Dirty & Dusty. The MuD BuG didn't Look very Muddy so, I used Testors High Gloss Clear Spray and "Misted" the MuD BuG from a distance, to look like rain drops...... Then I sprayed the Tires, Underside, Fenders and Lower Areas with a Heavy Spray of High Gloss! Cool Willy is Happy Now!!!
