bryan_m Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 ive been tryin to post some of my older builds here for you guys to check out and heres a couple 32 fords i did back in `06 ... this first one is pretty rotten, it was the 2nd time i ever did rust work on a model.... its not my best work, but it was a starting point i`m most proud of the rotten floor pan i did ion the trunk.......i really like the way it looks. and how about a big nasty, seriously junky patch panel on the quarter? even though its not a 32, its sitting on a 32 ford frame..... LOL this one is called "Rocinante" (Don quixote`s broken down old horse) its a 41 chevy cab, on a 32 ford frame with a chrysler hemi! talk about frankenstien! i opened the doors, and added a bunch of other stuff to it.......like the rag for a gas cap! i made a fuel tank out of a beer keg, and found this decal in my stash! i had to put it on there........ more to come guys, thanks for lookin. hope you enjoy the pics! cheers bryan
Grumpa Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Pretty "Ratty" Bryan! I love the "southern" body work on the roadster, and the "Hemi" sticker on the gas tank is a laugh!
bryan_m Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 thanks mark!! i forgot to mention, the rag "gas cap" on the cab side is just to keep the hornets from making a nest! LOL cheers bryan
bryan_m Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 heres an interior shot of the roadster.........i made the tears in the seat with some maskin tape, and ripped holes in it, and added some fuzz from something.......dont really remember.. thanks again! bryan
rmvw guy Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Thanks for sharing some more eye candy with us Bryan! They are both really cool I love the Roadster. The tools on the seat look real, the trunk is cool and the patch panels look like something that may have came out of my garage. I've been working on an old '32 I've had around forever and may use some ideas from yours.
Joker Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Thanks for bringing them off the shelf for us to see Bryan. I know lots of people here have some oldies but goodies, hope this starts a trend. Joker
bryan_m Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 thanks Ray, Ron, and James! i appreciate the kind words. cheers bryan
deathskull59 Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 cool 32 and 41 car/ truck. i did my rusty old die cast 40ford p/u like that with the poorly done patch panels and crusty old fenders.
Chuck Most Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 An early Hemi is a scientifically proven way to improve any vehicle, even a GM vehicle! Love that Deuce roadster, too. Even though it too could use a Hemi.
