bryan_m Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 another gooodie from the past. i grafted the rear suspension from the 67 chevy kit to the monte floor pan. i scratchbuilt the "outlaw" hood....i kinda dont like it, i made it too tall! theres a ton of other scratchbuit stuff on here too..........but again, i was still learning, and it doesnt represent my best work. thanks for lookin guys bryan
Rob Z Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 A good friend of mine has an 86' Monte SS Prostreet 1:1. He has the 4" hood in just about the same silver as your car here, it is a back half car with a nice 4 link set up and a 383 stroker under the hood. Very nice work on this one, with that hood and wing it really looks mean...
nboldman Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Not that I could do any better, bit the hodd is just a little bit to tall and doesn't flow from the front grill, but its still really sweet! Don't take my criticism the wrong way though as I couldn't do much better. Lol. Thabks for sharing it!

Thabks for sharing it! oh no, its cool nathan. i dont like the hood myself but i was still in the learning process, and a little less patient than i am now. there are quite a few things i could have done better on this build....your criticism is welcome here, i wont get mad about it at all. thanks! bryan

I think I'm about to start a 40' ford here in a little bit since my work bench hasn't had anything on it in a weel or two.
cobraman Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Bryan, first off I may have to agree with you on the height of the custom hood but.......... it does not take away from the great work you did on this build. I really like the paint and the trunk looks very nice. I say, good job !!
John Teresi Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Bryan.......I gotta say.....you do some impressive work.
Guest Darkside Customs Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Bryan, I'm not a huge fan of the SS Monte ( I have a soft spot for LS Montes)... But you did this one up just right brother! I like the cowl hood.... May be tall, but makes this car look that much meaner!
Johnny1973 Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Bryan, nice job on the Monte Carlo.Alot of nice detail work went into it.
MyBradKeselowski Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 How many steroids did you give it? LOL Great looking Monte Carlo, it has the appropriate look for pro street racing. Good job ! ! !
