Bert Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 I want to build an old Pontiac. I purchased a Jada 40 Pontiac on ebay, and now I look at it, it seems so much bigger then a 1/24 or 1/25 scale kit. is anyone aware of how accurate the Jada models are.
Casey Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 I would start by measuring the wheelbase, then comparing it to a trusted source online which states the 1:1's wheelbase. Jada does take liberties with their stated scale at times, though.
TooOld Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 I don't know about your Pontiac , but I bought a 1/24 Jada Manxter that is actually 1/20th scale .
sjordan2 Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 I know this is a question, but not necessarily "how do I..?" so you might be able to get more pertinent answers in the Diecast section.
Bert Posted July 20, 2012 Author Posted July 20, 2012 thanks for all your help, it measures out to about 1/22 scale. Maybe a hot rod merc, or a pro touring merc.
