Jada 1940 Pontiac

I want to build an old Pontiac. I purchased a Jada 40 Pontiac on ebay, and now I look at it, it seems so much bigger then a 1/24 or 1/25 scale kit. is anyone aware of how accurate the Jada models are.

I would start by measuring the wheelbase, then comparing it to a trusted source online which states the 1:1's wheelbase.

Jada does take liberties with their stated scale at times, though.

I don't know about your Pontiac , but I bought a 1/24 Jada Manxter that is actually 1/20th scale .

thanks for all your help, it measures out to about 1/22 scale. Maybe a hot rod merc, or a pro touring merc.
