Thanks for kind comments :)

You could make copies of the door handle and horn grille. Take a small piece of clay or aluminum foil and take an impression of the existing pieces. Fill with 5-minute epoxy. When set up, pop the parts out, paint silver or foil them, and PRESTO! You have your missing parts!

Since the running boards are not identical, but right and left sides, you would have to scratchbuild the missing running board out of styrene sheet... but that shouldn't be too hard to do.

Thanks for your help Harry. Never tried clay as a mold. I use RTV silicone for my wheels and tires however using clay would be easier and quicker for small parts like door handles.

Useing the 5 minute epoxy to make parts is a good tip, I like that! I forgot to mention, I love the weathered VW also . A really cool pair of Bugs!!!

Very, very nice. Not over done, just perfect with the right changes to make it stand out.

Seeing your car, I wish these old Beatles would make a come back.

Very clean built of the ragtop-beetle. I like the stance of it and (of course) the color. Beautiful!

Dave thank you very much for your interest. I have the spares too, I'll copy them if I find time.
