ok, i pulled this out of the "diggin out old projects" thread so i can concentrate on it.

heres a couple shots of where i am. i started this build over 2 years ago, and its time to get rollin on it again. thanks again to the person who came up with the name "sweet pea", very cool!

heres the interior....

the body, with my failed attempt at frenched antennae......

im adding corvette front suspension to it, not sure about the rear suspension yet tho.... it will be painted satin "ivy leaf" probably no rust on this one, just some light weathering.....just a little dirt, brake dust...ect ect.

more to come guys, stay tuned!

Just noticed the emergence handle..(shaped like a putter)

is it scratched built or part of the kit.

Love the floor mats too.

ok, heres what ive got goin on with the suspension....

i cut off all the plastic tabs, and replaced them with metal pins...

and here it is mocked up, i have to modify the upper control arm so it doesnt hang over the inside of the frame.

and yes the wheels will be poseable. and it will have steering linkage.

lemme know what you think

heres a question guys....... shave the trim off, or leave it on?

im a little discouraged with the frame/suspension so im gonna work on the body...

im am brain dead sometimes....... that emergency brake release handle is actually an exterior door handle from a 32 ford, painted black.....

bryan

I say leave it on. Your interior is saying "mild custom". I'd stay with that theme.

yep! the shaved trim would be more than "mild custom", so im stickin with the trim. thanks!

Great detail on the interior, I think it's cool when you guys add the magazines and misc stuff. I don't know how you mess with those tiny pieces on the suspension, Its hard enough without the added detail. As for my opinion on the body, the thing that sticks out to me are the door handles, hood name plate and the front plates/vents(?) on the back fenders. I would shave them off so they dont take away from the beautiful side moldings and it keeps the flow of the car. Just my two cents, either way i always look forward to seeing what your going to do.

OK Bryan. Caught you. Why the heck are reading this thread when you should be working on that fine Cobra ? Now, shut off the computer, go get yourself a Mtn. Dew and get back to that Cobra. : ) I hope you realize I am just kidding you and mean no offence.

More, more, more . . . you are going to have so any projects on the brink of getting finished, and then one day soon you will have like two dozen finished models.
