Monty Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 I've got these three kits in the on-deck circle. I have Googled the 1:1 cars and found all kinds of pictures of engines, interiors, paint colors etc, but I can't seem to come up with any chassis shots that show how parts would appear in brand new or correctly restored condition. I'm specifically interested in close-ups of a complete front suspension, pics showing basic chassis color (I assume red oxide), subframe rails, rear springs and gas tank. I was surprised that Google let me down on this, and I hope some of you can fill in the blanks for me. Thanks!
Art Anderson Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Methinks that you could work with underside pics of any stock (or correctly restored) Mustang 1965-72 as a guide, given that neither the platform, suspension, nor assembly plant practices changed very much over those years, in my opinion. blueoval92 Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 if you talk to the guys at year one they could probably give you some really got pics because they are the leader in reproduction parts for mustangs and even have a very good restoration service. based on the pics i see in their catalogs i would say they would be the ones to have what your looking for.
Bruno Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 I got some good chassis pics of a '68 Shelby GT-500, if you want them, drop me a PM with your email adress and i will send them to you
