Dr. Cranky Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 I just returned to find MCM #170, and I am totally wowed not only by it's gerth, but by the variety of great articles. Congrats to Yost, Cruz, Hutchings, Moyer, Most, Leisure, et al . . . including Harry P. who I got the honor of putting it all together. I'm hope I am not the only one who believes the magazine has really been sparking up some great stuff this last year or so. Keep it going, gents. If the eye candy quotient of the NNL WEST 2012 coverage is any indication, the models coming out to the shows all over the country proves that the hobby is well and thriving, and more than a few builders have raised the limbo stick by leaps and bounds. A hearty CONGRATULATIONS!
sjordan2 Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 (edited) Yes, it's quite good, with many helpful tips and a good airbrush article that covers the basics - this stuff needs to come up from time to time. But I've gotta wonder about the page on Kelli Khrome, apparently an exotic dancer who builds models. Is this part of Gregg's therapy? I can hear the conversation in the bar now. Dr. Cranky Posted August 11, 2012 Author Posted August 11, 2012 I would love to see more of her models.
sjordan2 Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 I would love to see more of her models. You'll like her, and she knows what you like. Lots of rusty, smashed-up stuff. http://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&hl=en&source=hp&q=kelli+khrome&gbv=2&oq=kelli+khrome&gs_l=img.12..0i24.1585.4866.0.7991.12.7.0.5.5.0.138.385.6j1.7.0...0.0...1ac.rOBpTb9o0dU

Dr. Cranky Posted August 12, 2012 Author Posted August 12, 2012 Ah, a review, Chuck. Better start taking those memory pills already.
edward smith Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 I have a friend that subscribes to it and always lets me check it out, I thoroughly enjoyed Cruz' article on panel lines, always wanted to learn how he did that, looks like I have a bit of homework. Very good issue indeed.
cobraman Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 If I remembr right there is a photo of one of Ira's creation in there.
