Badluck 13 Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Sweet lookin' rig and cargo, very cool on the weathering, what did ya use for the mud look?
Madrdnckbldr080 Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 Thanks Mike and Tim.. Mike I used real mud.. 2 yrs ago I built some demo cars for people, and expirmented with what to use and I found real Mud looks the best.. I made my own Screen and sifter to break down the fine dirt.. then mix in water and elmers glue.. Using an Paint brush and my Air brush, I feathered it on to create the look i wanted.. Red
camaro73 Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 That looks great! I love the mud trick. I will have to remember that. Thanks.
crazyjim Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 That looks pretty cool. I have one of those L700 still sealed up. Is it normal for the cab to sit like you have it?

Ya for some reason, even after hackin and whackin.. It had that lean.. If i had evergreen at the time, I was goin to redo, the front section of the frame.. But due to lack of funds i couldn't purchase what i needed.. Red
catd11rpusher Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Boy Robert, I looked at the pictures at first, and thought it was a truck that was real and you were going to copy. NICE JOB ON THE WEATHERING.
Chuck Most Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Really cool- looks like the kind of stuff my neigbor Bill used to have stacked up out behind his workshop.
