caapa Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 (edited) The early version of XP-755 Shark was still without front bumpers but with the same removable double-bubble top, wire wheels and interior as the XP-700. The engine was now charged by a GMC-4-53 Roots compressor and on the bonnet was Supercharged readable on both sides of the vents of compressor. Bill Mitchell received an original Ferrari steering wheel as a gift from Enzo Ferrari shortly befor he let put it in this car. The model was built from Minicraft Models Inc. kit in 1:20 scale. Nearly all parts of kit had to be altered or changed by scratch built ones. The assembly sequence had to be altered too to give a possibility for the nice body paint black-blue on top with a smooth changing to white at below.. I scratchbuilt new wheels and tyres because the original ones were too smal. Edited May 24, 2013 by caapa

robertw Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Another model to be proud of using a kit that most modellers wouldn't think of building. I like and you've done a fine job. robw
