Mike Kucaba Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 There is someone selling some multi/media kits of 30's Indy winners. Check it out by searching resin.
rel14 Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Does anyone make the Aurora 1935 gilmore special in resin, or cars of that era. looked though this form, but didn't see any. Looking for the Old indy racers, and midgets. The Aurora models that i have come across, have a Un-godly price tag... Thank You
sjordan2 Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 (edited) Apparently made originally by Best http://oldmodelkits.com/index.php?detail=19496&page=72 http://cs.scaleautom...602.aspx#417602 Edited September 1, 2012 by sjordan2
Junkman Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Those kits are absolutely atrocius. To make them into anything presentable would be bordering scratchbuilding. They were last made by Aurora Holland, so you have better chances to find them on European Ebay sites. Etzel Speed Classics would be a good source for decent multimedia kits.
dimaxion Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Check for Edzel's Resins on Evil Bait . He is gone , good stuff . Worth seeking . I agree with you about the old Aurora remains. Thanx ..
Greg Wann Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 There is someone in Indianapolis that makes kits. They go through Ebay every now and then. I could not find a listing . Art Anderson may know.
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 (edited) Interesting. I bought a bunch of old Aurora Indy kits, boxed and builts, years back when nobody wanted them. Glad something is finally worth more than I paid for it. They're not very accurate, by the way. Edited September 1, 2012 by Ace-Garageguy
Mike Kucaba Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 See Ovaltracklegends seller on EBAY.

Greg Wann Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 (edited) There are some listings on eBay. I was thinking they were in Indianapolis for some reason. Edited September 1, 2012 by Casey
