crazyjim Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 You may want to check out HOK bittersweet and Cocoa pearls for those colors.
vintagedragfan Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 very nice work you are doing on the caddy!
John Teresi Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Billy......I think this is totally AWESOME man........love it so far.
Draggon Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Like the ride height, and the engine poking thru the hood.
tooltas Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 YAUGHT no way this caddie is a speed boat bad to bone boat
BKcustoms Posted January 29, 2013 Author Posted January 29, 2013 Sweet!!!! Thanks Kerry! You may want to check out HOK bittersweet and Cocoa pearls for those colors. I already have the colors for this build, I have access to a DuPont mixing system at work so I'm able to mix pretty much any color I want. I do plan on using HOK sometime though since I've heard nothing but good things about their products. Great job so far,Alot of scratchbuilting. Thanks, This is the most scratchbuilding I've ever done on one project.
BKcustoms Posted January 29, 2013 Author Posted January 29, 2013 Going to be one beautiful Yaught! YAUGHT no way this caddie is a speed boat bad to bone boat it is definitely a yacht or at least a large speed boat lol, this is the longest model car I currently have. It doesn't even fit into my display case! That's cool! Looks Great so far!!! Thank you!
BKcustoms Posted January 29, 2013 Author Posted January 29, 2013 Billy......I think this is totally AWESOME man........love it so far. Thanks John! Your builds are always great to watch. Like the ride height, and the engine poking thru the hood. Thanks, I was worried about the hood looking out of place on this body since the scoop had some sharp edges and the body is nothing but curves but so far I'm happy with it. I think it helps bring some shape into the front. very nice work you are doing on the caddy! Thanks Bill! Your Cuda build is what inspired me to finally tackle the aluminum suspension parts.
72 Charger Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Billy thats one of the coooooooolest caddi's Ive ever seen the hood mod looks just right . Dont take this the wrong way but i think it needs somthing done with the front a mouth maybe?
BKcustoms Posted January 31, 2013 Author Posted January 31, 2013 I thought about doing some sort of lower grill but the body is almost 1/4 inch thick under the grill so I'm not sure if I will or not.
Paxton Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 How interesting scratch, I will follow this closely !
