Greg Myers Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Six twin choke carbs on a Poncho V-8 with a chopped top. Maybe some flipper hub caps and a custom grill. No, make that a kustom grill.Stuff all this in a '36 Ford coupe. OK, you can include the roadster up top and other parts to go with it.
Draggon Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Ya got it just right Greg! Re-issue the first edition with the chopped 3 window top, and the flipper caps from the later 40 Sedan delivery, replace the clunky air cleaners with some frog-mouth scoops, engineer a set of over the fenders headers similar to the Phantom Sickey, and what a winner!
Ramfins59 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Cool.... This makes me want to work on the AMT '36 Ford kit I picked up a couple of years ago.... Hmmmm.... The chopped top.... MCG photo-etched '36 Ford grille.... Hollywood flipper caps from the Revell '48 Ford.... Teardrop skirts.... What color...??? Red.... Purple.... White....???? Like I need another project...
CEKPETHO BCE Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Yes, 36 3 Window Coupe would definitely be much appreciated in a tin edition with extra grills and tops and so on. Also a 39/40 Coupe with cragar and steelie rims so basically like the tudor version, but coupe.

Purple Suede with a white interior.
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 That original issue '36 Ford is one of my all-time favorite kits. I'd for sure buy a tin-box version or three. Wonder if the original tooling still exists for it.
PatRedmond Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Please no more tins. The chocolates are terrible.

High octane Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 That '36 Ford would be great in a "tin" Greg with all those parts, really great!

Mercman Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Heck I'd even buy one. That was one of the first kits I built way back when.
chebbysteve Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 The 36 was one of my first AMT kits. Ive built 3 or 4 of them. But I would for sure buy 2 or 3 more in a tin edition with extras...
