Okay my next build is going to be the Struse*Smith*Welsh project six pack and the closest match to the paint i can find is in the Pactra line (rally green) for R/C Cars, i am wondering if anybody has used this brand on there builds, or have i missed a color that will come close to it thanks

I have used that paint with no problems, but keep in mind it is really "hot". Definitely test it with the primer you want to use. It's made to bond itself to Lexan RC car bodies, and would certainly attack bare styrene. Unfortunately, I can't remember what primer I used. Heck, I can't remember what I had for breakfast! Good Luck!

You really should airbrush this paint on, over an acrylic lacquer primer, as it's a lacquer meant to "attack (bond tightly to) clear lexan RC car bodies. This paint will not be glossy, as clear plastic racing body shells are painted on the inside, the clear Lexan giving it a high shine, so clear coating it will be necessary.

But, it does work when used carefully and properly.

Art, can you give us the name of an acrylic lacquer primer you'd recommend for this? I may want to try this paint, too. While I'm at it, what's the best clear coat to use on this paint? TIA

Try Duplicolor or Krylon in rattle cans. I'll defer to others here who are more current as to what is available from both those manufacturers, as to primer. As for clear coats, Modelmaster has clear lacquer in a spray can--I've used that numerous times now with great results.
