Deano Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 I figured since I've rediscovered this place, I'd jump in and join the fun! This 49 Ford Custom was supposed to be done today for the contest over on the HAMB. Needless to say, it ain't gonna happen! Here it is in its first color coat (needs a little more, I see). Anyhow, this is what I'm up to (well, there are a couple of others but this'll do for a start)
Joker Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Nice work on the rear fender bulge and the front and rear lite buckets. Digging the rounded hood corners. What kit did the wheel covers come from?
Modelbuilder Mark Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 I like the skirt treatment. I know that some think that the desin has to have the full arch cut out, but I do not like that, I like the subtle treatment you have here.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Lotsa nice kustom body mods on that. They all work together well.
crazyjim Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Looking good. Aren't those '57 Chevy headlight buckets?
Deano Posted October 2, 2012 Author Posted October 2, 2012 Thanks for the comments, guys! The wheels are from an issue of the AMT 40 Ford Sedan Delivery. Jim, shhh ... don't tell anyone!
