severin681 Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 OH super nice. I love this car. I have 4 of them in various stages. Great start and I like what you did with the trunk. The braces for the door are really nice idea too.
BluePopsicle Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 I look forward to seeing this one done. I love chargers and that kandy color is awesome. Nice job on the cutouts, hinges and door panels too!
Skydime Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Odd to see the trunk hinges done like this but, I like it. They are much closer to accurate because they are attached inside the inner trunk structure on many 1:1 cars. Great Work.
northendmetalallstar Posted October 13, 2012 Author Posted October 13, 2012 Thanks for the compliments guys. The weekend is here and it's supposed to rain, hoping to get alot of modeling done!
bryan_m Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 cool, cant wait to see more of this one! bryan
northendmetalallstar Posted October 24, 2012 Author Posted October 24, 2012 Putty, sand... putty, sand... I hate this part. Decided to put the wheels on. Wow are they ever big... too big to turn the front ones and the back ones are touching the body. I need to either lift the suspension a bit or enlarge the fender openings... or possibly a bit of both. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
GeeBee Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Superb work .... loving all the detail you're putting into the build.
Byron5150 Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Wow this is looking pretty sweet. great pictures with the hinges and such. Makes me brave enough to try that on a model Also that color for the chassis looks great! And great details on the engine. Can't wait for more!
BluePopsicle Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 This build is looking so good. it's making me want to do one as well.
