The majority of the threads & pictures found in mine are there because they contain modeling information I want to keep on hand for the future, but it looks like entries stored in there disappear after a year. I know it wasn't meant to be a permanent storage device, but I'm not terribly computer savvy and I'd hate to lose the pics and links.

Suggestions?

For the future, anytime you get a photo you want to keep, pull the photo up, right click on the photo, click on save image as (make a folder strickly for modeling photos), type your file name you want to save the photo as, into this folder and click on save. Make sure you save it to your desktop or a destination you will remember where its located. Thats my best advice in regards to keeping photos you want to keep ahold of. Hope its a help to you. Should you need any further information on how to do this, message me and Ill be more then happy to help you through it.

We don't delete threads after a year as far as I know.

Just do what Deron says and whenever you see something you want to keep, just save it to your own computer.

The search function showing the post you both started and replied to is limited to one year from the present date:

Monty's Content

There have been 344 items by Monty (Search limited from 23-October 11)

If you want to use the forum to store your images, try uploading them using the "Gallery" feature. Each member has the ability to create their own gallery, and it's easily accessible via the "My Content" tab.

i've got an 8 gig sized folder of car pictures. i'm a bit of a internet junkie. for saving images, firefox is much better, as you can generally get around most anti saving measures you'll encounter on some websites (eg flickr)

You can get around any anti-saving measures by just taking a screen shot of the image you want.
