1985 VW GTI

I built this Revell GTI to represent the real one my wife and I bought new in 1985. I tried to replicate the interior as close as was possible, and I'd love to have another try at the red stripes on the seats.....The inaccuracies of the rally light package, Euro bumpers and the aftermarket wheels and tires not withstanding, it closely resembles our real car. I have since located a Fujimi A2 Golf to raid the proper wheels and tires as well as the correct grill and head lights and may some day correct this one.
