Aeroteto Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 For the last ten years I build only 1/48 aircraft models, and only two car models. A few months ago I received a Revell's '37 Ford convertible as a gift, I wasn't shure if I should kiss him or beat him. The kit was laying at the bottom of the stash. I'm trying to build it now, and after looking in this forum, a couple more kits are in the mail heading my home. It's amazing how addictive build scale cars can be. Next project it's gonna be the new Revell's Merc '49. I have to thanks to all of you who post great wip, tips and techniques. Thanks for sharing, and I hope to learn and have a lot of fun. Hector Lopez.
Greg Myers Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Hector, welcome aboard. Is that you in that jet cockpit ?
Hollywood Jim Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Welcome !! STOP ! Turn back NOW. Don't start building model cars. It is very addictive. There is still time, you can save yourself. If you build that Revell 49 Merc, you'll be lost forever.

Once you build that 49 Merc you will be a STYRENE ADDICT for which there is no cure, for which there is no turning back. Look what it's done to me!
Skip Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Welcome Hector, have fun building cars and enjoy your stay. Dr. Cranky, all I can say is, "You are one sick man!"
Aeroteto Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Yes Greg, it's me on that cockpit. I love to build arcraf models, but now rediscover scale car modeling. I think it's too late, the Merc it's on the mail now. Dr Cranky I hope get your craziness level one day!
