Here is a project i got last week at fulton ny model show . It's a revell '99 silverado p/u custom . I also bought the revell escalade SUV . I got a nice amount of work done on it this week . With alot of projects going on you may see slow progress on this build . here are some plans for this build , subject to change at any time PLAN's :: = custom crew cab conversion = escalade front end conversion = escalade rear bumper conversion = escalade tailgate conversion = escalade rear valances = resin 572 big block engine = scratch built frame (body drop) = custom interior to compliment crew cab all for now ..... main project kit being used donor kit conversion is under way escalade rear doors , customized for crew cab escalade rear bumper conversion , escalade rear valances , fillers added under taillights rear end shot

backyardinc Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 escalade front on ..... rear door panel , another view interior floor pan stretched early mock up before putty = resin truck rims i picked up from a private seller at nnl east , no name brand , and he only had one set ... might go a diferent route on wheels , this is what i have for now .

tooltas Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 use yjr wheels but put a duilly bed on the truck if ur not using them then look for a cheap dub city truck and use them. i did one on some 44 inc super swampers and a big lift.

backyardinc Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 Tooltas , ill look into those wheels ... I was thinkin of just tubbing out this truck with dually wheels without the dually fenders ..... I have to search for those diecast trucks , looks like there wheels might be to big ...

They had like 3 different styles of 572

backyardinc Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 layed out the 572 ......... glued the heads on , glued trans together... might blow out the 572 sanded first coat of putty on the rear door panel more putty work started working on tailgate this evening ... im using the escalade taillight assembly but staying with silverado lenses

backyardinc Posted December 6, 2012 Author Posted December 6, 2012 little more progress ..... long bed is taking its shape >>> i shaved the lower moldings , added some putty , STILL needs to be sanded >>>>> filled in the missing gap for the cab >>> and got some new wheels underside of new long bed conversion got some new wheels of a italeri western star kit , 1/24 scale , using aoshima 18" tires stretched on mock up >>>>> and here is where the resin truck rims will end up on after some thinking
backyardinc Posted January 17, 2013 Author Posted January 17, 2013 another update ........ i scratch built some dually fenders from the quarter panels of the escalade.....with some sanding and putty it will be oem ..
