Dr. Cranky Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 It's looking very good, and it's a wonderful kit so you can't go wrong.
woody . Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 and as it sits with the the color on it.
woody . Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 Thanks guys for the nice comments. I picked up some dawn power dissolver and it worked quite well on removing chrome, today was my first attempt at polishing paint on a model. First i did light wet sanding with 2000 for small dirt nibs. Then went back over with 3000. Then rubbing compounds.
Bartster Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 lf she gets any prettier, l'd take her home to meet Momma !
woody . Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 Nice paint, what color is it? purple-licious testors one coat lacquer and the same was used for the clear.
Tom Setzer Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 I like it so far! To get the best shine to the paint, you really should go on with 4000 Grit Through 12000 grit wet sanding !
Davewilly Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Like the Purple! Nice looking build so far!
