Well, don't know why but I'm registered in this forum since 2009 but never participate in it, maybe to much things to do and not enough time.

Anyway, let's say I'm here for good, this time and will try to be present as soon as possible.

So here is my last build, it's a 70 GTX from Monogram, started as a serie of 4 models from the same kit, 2 as a GTX, 2 as RRunner. It was painted now years ago but never finished. Basically box stock, this kit is from the first issue of that model, and I choose tostay with that color ( Lime Green ), I've changed the engine for a 426 Hemi coming from a 71 'Cuda. SOme detailing and wiring have been put in the engine bay. I also add some detail on the interior, by example the armrest were molded very "flat" so I decide to give them some new ones, front and rear, I also add the upper door wood and chrome finish. Wood is done with some decals.

On the outside I've put some Keystone wheels from MRC, the rear is a bit higher than stock. I've also work on the front bumper because it seems to me that Mono put it a bit to low when compared with the real car, and it get's the front a bit heavy when build stock, so I replace it at the good "stance". Also, on the taillight panel, I've put the chrome surrounding at the bottom of the light which was forgotten by Mono, in fact that is not on the RRunner but correct onthe GTX.

Well, I hope you'll like it, it's a model now not so often seeing built, and I have some real pleasure to finally finish it.

Thanks, seems this one to be the last build of the year, I don't feel any free time to come between Christmas and New Years day......

Nice looking GTX Emmanuel! Nice to see one with the front bumper guards painted. Some flat black paint on those Keystone wheels will really make them pop.
