Ira,

Great work as always.

I would suggest that where the exhaust comes out you thin the lip of the body instead of the notch for the outside exhausts.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comments Bob!

Yeah, I filled the two body holes on the sides of the pipes and I will probably "thin the lip" too... B)

CUTTING A HOLE...

I found an inner wheel that will be a perfect housing for my Frenched Taillight! So I traced it on the back of the Quad...

I opened the hole with an X-Acto #11 Blade, then increased its size with a reamer and last, I used the Dremel Tool for the final shape.

I positioned the wheel in as far as I could and then glued it in place.

Here it is with a little putty around the edges...

GETTIN' SMOOTH...

I started Smoothing out the Frame a little more by adding putty to the frame tube, behind the gas tank position.

A little more sanding...

Then I cut a piece of sheet plastic to fill in the area under the seat and glued it in place. Then I sanded it a little more...

THE GAS TANK!!!

I wasn't too happy with the way the Gas Tank fit on Quad, so I did a little carving and sanding...

DSCN0733Q_zps86b941db.jpg

I got a pretty good fit after a little more sanding!

I think the Body and Gas Tank flow nicely now...I'm Happy!

I really like the way this is coming along. The exhaust pipes look cool the way you have them exit. Carry on !

THANKS RAY!!!

Looks like I might be painting the Quad today.... B)

ED'S LIGHT!!!

I found the perfect headlight in Ed Roth's Mysterion Kit. I added a second little "Wing" on the left side of the Cyclops Light Housing to make it symetrical.

Here it is sanded and shaped!

TWO HARLEYS PLEASE!!!

I painted the Engines with Tamiya Silver Leaf, then the Engine Blocks Flat Black and the Cylinders got a Black Wash...

DSCN0784Q_zps5fd5738d.jpg

From the side you might not notice the Extra Engine...

DSCN0838Q_zps180cd797.jpg

But when you see it coming up in your rear view mirror, there is no doubt...

EASY EXHAUST!!!

I found an easy way to make Flexable Exhaust Pipes for the Quad...notice the Black Pipe!

DSCN0848Q_zps80488922.jpg

I cut the Cord off of an old Dell mouse, and as it turns out the Cord is the same size as the Kits Exhaust Pipes! Here are all 4 Pipes in place...

These Pipes are not glued in yet, I'm still working on positioning... B)

These 25th scale Scoops turned out to be the right size for the Quad!

DSCN0825Q_zpsfcc4f50a.jpg

I added a couple of Carbs and painted them with Testors "Lime Ice".
