SFRC Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 The smallest big job. That is how you can discribe this modification. Making extended wheel arches on a 1:43 Daf 55 Coupe. This is the original car: And this is the model by NEO
SFRC Posted December 20, 2012 Author Posted December 20, 2012 So, now the model is in bits and pieces. The windows are damaged due to the superglue NEO used. I have to make new ones. Difficult to see but the wheelarches are now fitted On this photo it is easier to see Black is a difficult colour to take a photo off. Especially when its night. Now the wheels and new windows are fitted it looks a bit more like a car And the grey/silver decals come out really nice on black
SFRC Posted December 20, 2012 Author Posted December 20, 2012 To finish off the model some spot and fog lights are put on, just as the overriders.
Jzaaijer Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Great job! I admire your courage to take a $ 90.00 model car apart and remodel it! :-)
SFRC Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 Great job! I admire your courage to take a $ 90.00 model car apart and remodel it! :-) Neo is a Dutch company, although the models are made in China, so it is a bit cheaper overhere. Still $ 65.00
SFRC Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 dont forget to add "het pientere pookje" It works, the "smart gear stick". Before taking the model apart I pushed it forwards and backwards a couple of times. Both ways it goes evenly fast.
