vintagercr Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 First of all, Merry Christmas to everyone! I have noticed that some modelers are starting to get parts made by this type of process. Is it expensive and to Canadian followers are their any 3D companies in the Toronto area?
Prostreet Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Merry Christmas to you also, I have purchased various stuff from TDR innovations, The use shapeways to do there printing. very nice quality stuff in my opinion, It can be expensive depending what scale you are working in, also there big the part and the scale the better the quality from what i have seen.

Lownslow Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 (edited) First of all, Merry Christmas to everyone! I varies depending on material and who you go with, Shapeways at the moment is the cheapest with the cheapest shipping, Sculpteo is the second best but unless youre ordering 50$ in parts the shipping is 20$ for anything over 10$ Edited December 25, 2012 by Lownslow
sjordan2 Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 I was just wondering if they could scan a 1/24 parts tree and enlarge it to 1/14. I have a very nicely molded 1/14 RC Mercedes SLS AMG with a detailed interior (which, of course, is a curbside), that I would like to add an engine to, and I've ordered a 1/24 Revell kit to use as detail reference.
vintagercr Posted December 25, 2012 Author Posted December 25, 2012 Thanks for the replies.I guess I was looking at 1/25 and 1/24
blunc Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Hmmm, may be copyright issues with that request.
