Are you going to change the '30/'31 cowl to a '28/'29 style? It can be done with a Revell '29 pickup cowl.

Thanks for the nice comments guys..

Hey LDO

Are you going to change the '30/'31 cowl to a '28/'29 style? It can be done with a Revell '29 pickup cowl.

I hadn't thought of that..but great idea. I have that kit in my stash. I'll swap cowls ..

I'm really enjoying this build..the vehicle style suits my tastes...so I see a few more in my future build list! :-)

As per LDO's suggestion Ive swapped in the 28 / 29 cowl from my parts box.

I raised the rear frame Zed as I felt the car wasn't low enough. That introduced a deeper body channel and floor construction. Two steps froward..one back! :-)

Then scratched the rear spring and axle mount.

Been away on business so its been slow progress lately. I did however get some paint on before I left, so its time for some initial assembly.

started painting the body..

Applied some pre shading and rusted the under floor. Still alot more layers to go..but I'm liking the look so far. :-)

If you were to build this same thing but as a body/frame dragging one that would be a sick combo! Having a practical one with a show one to go with it haha.

I love this so far, I wish I could save my 34 ford and do this to it.
