tomsheehy Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Its a major event when I get to finish up a model lately. Finally got this one done this week. Nothing special, just a box stock build of the new tool Revell 66 Impala SS. Nice kit, no major fit issues. Painted Tamiya maroon right out of the can. Built this as a replica of a car I worked on growing up in my neighborhood, 'cept that one had a 283. Nice to bring back some memories.
Erik Smith Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Nice work. Smooth paint and I like the color. I like the '66 style. It is a great kit - the mirrors are odd but closely resemble the 1:1, maybe just scaled up a little ( I used the. On my build this year too).
philo426 Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Nice!Except for the color(white)it looks like the first car to roll out of Lordstown!
crazyjim Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 I got that kit for Christmas. Nice, clean, SHINY :) build.
