wrecker388 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 What could I use to remove these? Purple power won't strip them and I want the trailer their stuck on for some paint practice. Thanks in advance
Chuck Most Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Careful heat with a hair dryer should take off the actual stickers- a few sessions with an adhesive remover like Goof Off should take care of the adhesive residue. As always, you'll want to test out the adhesive remover of your choice on a piece of plastic from the same kit to make sure it won't do anything goofy with the plastic.
hooknladderno1 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Riley, You might want to try Goo Gone. It is less "hot" than the Goof Off and thus less likely to affect the underlying paint. As Chuck suggested, try it on an inconspicuous area first. Good luck!
Chuck Most Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Thanks, David! Goo Gone is what I actually meant. All these adhesive removers with all those 'G's' in the name...
