Hey Guys ! I need some help.

I'm considering adding some lighting to my 1/25th scale diorama. I need overhead lights that would be found in a small garage.

When I try LED's they project a round spot on the floor. No good.

When I try 1.5 volt and 3 volt tiny filament type bulbs, they don't produce enough light.

I want to run the lights on batteries.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

JIm, at one time while looking at lighting at Frys Electronics, I came across a mini florescent tube light, its meant for using in like doll house's and stuff like that, only thing I can think of at the moment

There are some cold-cathode fluorescent lights used to light model railroad passenger cars that might meet your needs. They should be listed in the Walther's catalog or web site.

What are you thinking Jim? A bunch of AA batteries wired in series? There is a shop on Glendale that specializes in doll house supplies. If anyone would have anything in a small scale, I would think they would. I'll see if I can't find the name.

They also have a few model kits and other scale stuff. Cool place. In fact, I need to get over there soon.

Thank you Brad. Yes, I know the place. I love that place. They have several model car kits I would like to buy.

That is were I purchased a bunch of stuff for my diorama. I have been in there at least one day a week for the last two months buying doll house stuff.

They did not have low voltage light bulbs. I ended up using LED's run with batteries.

Thank you for your help !!!
