Bill Eh? Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 (edited) It looks really good so far. The yellow paint stands out! Keep it going. Edited January 15, 2013 by Bill Eh?
LAone Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Looks good Robert. The color choice will make it stand out on the streets for sure.
IMSANUT Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 I am doinf this car in the same color to go along with an aftermarket set of decals to replicate the ROHR PSCR GTi car that ran at Daytona. The eye searing yellow is accompanied by purple, green and red. Here is a link to a web page with a bunch of good pictures: http://www.google.com/search?q=Rohr+Porsche+GT1&hl=en&tbo=u&tbm=isch&source=univ&sa=X&ei=OwP3UNrDC8WiqwHXzYDwDg&ved=0CDUQsAQ&biw=1180&bih=574
123yokomo Posted January 18, 2013 Author Posted January 18, 2013 yeah that rohr one was a looker i remember seeing that one. started on the engine the springs are gold though they look silver almost done
feisty102 Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) Not much of a Porsche fan, but this one pokes at my interest strings. As said in a previous post, the yellow really does stand, out nice color choose. Did the tires come with the kit, or no? (They definitively add to the Porsche nicely) I'll be following this one. P.s: How much did you pay for this kit? --Feisty Edited January 18, 2013 by feisty102
Scuderia Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Derick you may be able to source decals of other versions of the racer via the internet; or of course do the Strassenversion as well... Robert this thing is lookin' awesome I like the detail here.
CAL Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Yeah the Yellow looks good on this car, it would make a great ROHR car, since there was no actual street cars, they didn't come till a few years later and were all based on the EVO body.
dantewallace Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Question for the OP, I take it from your username you are into R/C also? I thought I noticed a Tamiya F103GT in the background of the first pic.
