Thank ya folks!

This thing fought me every step of the way, I even had to use a knife to remove the clear factory plastic from the box. I'm scarred for life! I don't have the desire to ever indulge in an AMT again.

Yeah I tried a 90s era AMT Nascar and I gave up. Plus my decals were poo. Great job finishing it off

The only thing I ever liked about the AMT NASCAR kits were that they came with the gas can and jack lol

Great job on the AMT kit I always liked their interiors. The Thunderbirds body shape was weird too. But your Lumina looks just fine.

Haha! That's looking on the bright side. I'm planning a shop dio so they will come in handy for sure.

These decals were ok I guess, I sprayed three coats of Testers 1261 clear on the sheet as soon as I pulled them out of the box. They didn't take to solvaset at all, when I tried using the solution it just wrinkled up the decals and they wouldn't smooth back out. So I used thinned white glue and my wife's hair dryer to apply the decals.

Thanks again for the comments.

True that lol. I did like the opening trunk, but the rest was fiddly-rubbish and not pleasant at all. When I tried mine it was the days before I thought to pre-clear my decals so I was out of luck.

Look's awesome Bill, I really like the paint scheme on this car and I have no idea how you made the decal's work. The underside is really nice looking as well, great job on a rough kit.
